Product Description:

Silk Whisper Scarf - Hand-Dyed Edition

Our silk scarf is one of the signature products of our shop. We currently offer two color options of our 100% mulberry silk scarf for you to choose from.

This silk scarf is crafted from premium mulberry silk, offering a naturally soft and skin-friendly feel. Because hand-tie-dyeing on real silk requires exceptional skill, each piece is created by artisans with refined craftsmanship.

The scarf is lightweight and delicate, with a natural silk sheen that catches the light beautifully. Suitable for all seasons, it brings an effortless touch of elegance and comfort to everyday wear.

Mulberry Silk has the following unique characteristics:

1. Mulberry silk is a natural protein fiber and a luxurious, skin-friendly, and comfortable material. It is exceptionally lightweight, which is a natural characteristic of protein-based fibers.

2. Mulberry silk fabric is bright with a soft, elegant sheen. Its high luster gives it a distinctive charm when worn.

3. Mulberry silk has a delicately soft texture that helps reduce discomfort caused by friction against the skin. In addition, mulberry silk fibers are naturally long, giving the material excellent durability.

4. The porous structure of mulberry silk provides excellent breathability, making it ideal for direct contact with the skin. In summer, silk allows heat to dissipate quickly, keeping you cool and comfortable; in winter, it helps retain warmth by preventing heat from escaping into the air, offering effective insulation.

5. Mulberry silk has excellent moisture-absorption properties, allowing it to draw in moisture from the air and help keep the skin hydrated. At the same time, it also releases moisture effectively and resists dampness, helping prevent dust, mildew, and dust mites. Silk fabric is also less prone to attracting or retaining dust.

6. Mulberry silk fabric provides good protection against ultraviolet rays. *However, it is important to note that prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause mulberry silk to yellow, so it is not recommended to leave mulberry silk products under the sun for extended periods.

Care Guide for Washing and Drying Mulberry Silk Scarves:

- It is best to hand-wash your mulberry silk scarf. Avoid using a washing machine. When hand-washing, use gentle motions and do not rub or twist the fabric aggressively.

- Use a detergent specifically designed for silk or a mild, neutral detergent. *Do not use alkaline detergents.

- Keep the water temperature around 30°C (86°F); water that is too hot or too cold may damage the silk fibers. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

- *Do not wring the scarf to remove excess water. Instead, lay it flat on a clean, dry towel, then slowly roll the towel from one end to absorb most of the moisture.

- You may also take it to a professional dry-cleaning service.

For drying, hang the scarf in a shaded, well-ventilated place to air-dry naturally. *Do not use a tumble dryer.

- Avoid exposing silk to direct sunlight for extended periods, as this may cause fading, yellowing, and loss of luster.

- Silk fabrics may develop wrinkles. After washing, allow the scarf to dry about 70%, then lightly mist it with clean water. Wait about 3 minutes before ironing.

- When ironing, keep the temperature around 100°C (212°F). *Be sure not to let the iron touch the silk directly.

- Place a damp cloth over the scarf and iron on top of it to protect the delicate surface of the silk.

Storage and Care Guide for Mulberry Silk Scarves:

1. Avoid storing your silk scarf together with desiccants, cosmetics, perfumes, or mothballs. It is best to hang your silk scarf and keep it in a dry environment.

2. Avoid wearing a silk scarf during heavy sweating. If the scarf comes into contact with a large amount of sweat, it is recommended to wash it promptly.

3. Do not use metal hangers for storage, and avoid keeping the scarf near items that may fade or transfer color.

4. If you will not be using your silk scarf for an extended period, hang it properly and keep the storage area well-ventilated.

5. Store the scarf in a shaded area. Avoid direct sunlight or strong indoor lighting, as prolonged exposure may cause the silk to yellow.
